The Walmart at DOT Shopping had something I have yet to see in a Buenos Aires supermarket – red tuna! Now, it was frozen, imported from Uruguay and $89 pesos a kilo (U$S 9.43/lb), but of course I had to have some. I’m planning on grilling it this week…
Also interesting to note is that their imported food section, which was small, is now completely gone after Argentina imposed even more import restrictions a few months ago.

Man, looks like I left at the right time.
When it's in season, you can find it at the big supermarket in Barrio Chino in Mendoza. But go early, it sells out fast.
