It sucks for us because Chicago will eventually be 4 hours behind. I heard Mendoza doesn’t do the time change….nice area….hmmmm
Apple hasn’t fixed the problem.

Cool. Ah well, clock changes have always confused the hell out of me, so I understand how Argentina’s Travel could make the mistake.

Glad I wasn’t going out of my mind – I had to think through the whole thing a few times between reading your post and writing my comments.

Alan – yep, you’re right. I relied on the Argentina’s Travel link and I think they got it wrong too. We do move the clocks forward one hour. I have updated this post now.

Am I missing something here or being completely stupid?

The La Nacion article in Spanish says “A partir de la cero hora del domingo 19 de este mes se deberán adelantar los relojes una hora en todo el territorio nacional”

Which means, that on Sunday 19th this month, the clocks in Argentina will go FORWARD an hour, not back. This will put us 2 hours ahead of New York, not the same time.

Please don’t tell me I’ve just made a fool of myself. But I’m pretty sure it has to be forward, because the idea is to have more light in the evenings.
